Dear friends, colleagues, and partners,
As we approach the festive season and the close of 2025, all of us at the Rohingya Centre of the United Kingdom (RCUK) want to express our heartfelt thanks to our partners, supporters, and community members for standing with us throughout the year.
2025 has been a year of resilience, stronger partnerships, and renewed commitment to dignity, rights, and long-term solutions for the Rohingya people. Together, we’ve worked to amplify Rohingya voices, grow community-led initiatives, and engage constructively with national and international stakeholders.
This year, we laid the foundation for a major milestone in Rohingya education. In 2026, we will officially launch the Educate Rohingya Children (ERC) Campaign through the Rohingya Education System (RES)—an initiative designed by the Rohingya, for the Rohingya, in partnership with the National Education Union.
This ambitious project will deliver accredited, community-led education for Rohingya children in refugee camps in Bangladesh—empowering the next generation and strengthening the community’s ability to shape its own future.
Looking ahead, the upcoming hearings at the International Court of Justice in January 2026 mark a critical step toward accountability and justice for the Rohingya people. They remind us why sustained international solidarity and action remain essential.
We wish you a peaceful festive season and a New Year filled with hope, dignity, and progress for the Rohingya and all oppressed communities.
Happy New Year!
