Will you work with us to bring hope to a generation of Rohingya children trapped without education in the Refugee Camps in Bangladesh?
The Rohingya people of Myanmar (Burma) have endured unimaginable suffering, displacement, and genocide. Today, hundreds of thousands of Rohingya children living in refugee camps have lost their access to education due to American and British funding cuts that have led to the closure of many learning centres. This situation risks creating a lost generation children deprived of their basic right to learn, grow, and build a better future.
In partnership with the National Education Union, the Rohingya Centre UK is launching the first-ever teacher training programme aimed at empowering Rohingya refugee teachers in the refugee camps to provide quality education. You can help make this vital initiative possible.
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteer trainers from the UK — both active and retired teachers, education professionals, and anyone with relevant teaching experience who want to make a meaningful difference. This is your opportunity to stand in solidarity, share your expertise, and help equip teachers to better support children’s education in extremely difficult circumstances.
