Rohingya Centre UK (RCUK) is working to change this reality. Through the Rohingya Education System (RES) led by Rohingya educators and supported by the National Education Union (NEU).
We provide:
Safe and welcoming classrooms where girls and boys learn together with equal opportunities.Trained teachers who guide, inspire, and safeguard every child.A full curriculum, including literacy, numeracy, science, and languages.Strong community involvement to ensure children are supported and protected.
For generations, Rohingya children have been denied the right to education.
Displacement, statelessness, and exclusion have left hundreds of thousands without safe, meaningful learning opportunities. Education is not a privilege, it is a fundamental human right, essential for protection, dignity, and hope.
Every day, Rohingya children in Cox’s Bazar wake up with no school to attend, no books to read, and no one to guide them. Girls are especially at risk without safe, inclusive classrooms, they face child marriage, exploitation, and a lifetime trapped in poverty.
